Shame! Shame! Shame on me......

My metal detector has been sitting on a shelf without batteries in it for nearly 2 months. I sometimes look at it and feel like flogging myself!

My Rx: take two batteries, insert gently, turn switch on, ground balance and swing like he!!, then reapeat until well.
You'll feel much better and have complete insanity after each treatment.

Take a deep breath! Reach for detector, gently wrap fingers around handle and pull next to you. (Oh don't forget to grab your other detecting tools, might come in handy recovering objects!)Turn and head out of your house. Stop and buy batteries. Find a nice place to hunt or a park you have not detected. Stop open door inhale deeply, smile, replace batteries. Now take that first step out of your vehicle and go enjoy yourself! You will be glad you did!

I keep telling myself that I'm saving it for something really big. Makes me feel better about it.
