I wish I could remember where I picked this up at. I'm sure a location would help us determine whats going on but I went through my journals and this didn't get entered. I know it's from Texas...that should narrow it down. :)

I'm hoping that one of you may have seen something similar and it be an artifact, not the product of a bored modern man polishing a rock or just a geofact.

The base is 15/16" by 1 1/16" and about as tall.

Thanks flinthunter! I think you might have nailed it. I did some google image searches for stone tumbling media and they end up looking like this after use.
