Shell Collecting in Miami Beach

I had always heard that Miami Beach was a good place to collect shells, and now I know it's true. I found this fine example of the species .45 Auto in the dry sand at 21st Street Beach.

Cool shell, it appears to still be alive too!

In Miami you can also find the common Hypoderimius Stickimus Footus which has a painful sting.

Be careful with your hunts!
