These were awesome finds that day on 4-19-08. They were found on lowered Lake Freeman. It was lowered to inspect damage from the January flood. Also a bannerstone preform was found along with some Fort Ancient points/Madisons. The runtee was in loose dirt, but the bracelet was found on top of hard clay where the topsoil washed off. The dam was finished in 1925. From what I've heard these bracelets were made in the 1920's. So, maybe a artifact hunter lost this while looking before the water came up. The ground there could have been farmed and the field was left to erode since the ground was bought. Don't remember if I seen any plow marks on rocks. You'll bet I'll have a metal detector before they lower this lake again. :coffee2:

What is a runtee? Is that your first picture? Kokomo here.

I've updated the title. Yes the runtee is the first picture. It's made of shell and is parallel drilled. It is from the 16 to 17th century and would have been worn around the neck tightly I presume.
