Is this a tinkle cone or French conical?

It could be brass. Is it made as an alarm for a trap? I've seen tinkle cones in a museum but they were rolled flat and not cone shaped. It was found around a lot of animal bones, with Madison points. You can see the tip how it's rolled in like it was hit. I don't know. Didn't see any beads. But wow that's neat. :D
