I haven't seen hide nor hair of either parent for 7 months,I'd say she's gearing up to raise a chick or two.Took this shot walking down the Meadows today.

The head feathers are fluffy,males don't fluff up like that.

I'd sure like to catch them when they lock talons during the mating ritual and spiral toward the ground.
 

LOL. I almost said, "Is it because her feathers are ruffled?" Well, now you have a goal. Nice pic, BTW.
