First day out since returning from Wisconsin to see Metallica...hasn't stop raining there or here for a long time. Went out to my regular spot but once again wandered farther and farther away from the main area.

I was lucky to find another tag from "The City of Owen Sound"...which ran aground here in 1884 and sank later and was raised and sank again...quite the story. This is the third tag I have found from that ship. You can read about all the bad luck this ship had here.

King Edward large cent...he was only King for a few years so his coins are a little harder to find.

Nice finds. Very interesting about the ship wreck. Loonies aren't bad to find. That's a dollar a pop.

Interesting story to read. Thanks

I like the large cent. Congrats on all the nice saves. Nice story about the boat and tag. Thanks for sharing.

Nice finds! :icon_thumleft: I found one of those large cents here in New York! It's a 1909.

Very nice finds. Really like the ship tag and the backmark on the Rich Orange flat button.
Nice transition from Metallica in your ears to listening for faint signals in your headphones
