🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Shoe buckle or horse tack?

Ive found lots of horse tack in this area. Also many tombac buttons and some mid-18th c. coins. There’s a little nob on this, which I may have broken off while digging. I thought it was fancy but now I’m not sure.
