Short Cold Hunts.

Howdy Folks. Too busy at work and the days growing shorter have really diminished my time to hunt. I try to get a couple hours after work in the cold but not getting much. I did manage another nice old CW Eagle cuff button today. It was in a field not far from the last two CW Eagle buttons I recovered in my little town. It must have been nestled against some nasty iron. I am soaking it in food grade peroxide to eat through the rust. Otherwise it's a very nice button. A few other tid bits and odd things. Hopefully the weather for Thanksgiving will be decent enough to get out for some longer hunts. Ya'll have a great Thanksgiving! Thanks for stopping by. Kurios1

Nice going on the button and other finds. I hear ya on the short days and cooler weather, 4" of snow on the ground and then we got a 20mph wind and 50F today so that pretty well took most of the white away for now. Best of luck on your turkey weekend of hunting.

Yep, it's getting colder and the days are getting shorter.
We have to take advantage of every opportunity we get. Soon it will be nothing but cabin fever.
