Short hunt after work yields GOLD!

Hey Gang,

I went on my routine Thursday nite hunt (trying to find goodies before the other guys ). I went to my normal schools. One was having its lawn cut, the other one must have been having Grandparents Night or something, so I went back down to my third school. I wasn't finding very much.....a small pocket spill under some monkey bars. So I moved to the back of the school. I hit the slide area first. Just kind of swung quickly around them, not finding anything then bam! Got a solid nickel signal. Thinking I had found a nickle, I just moved the sand back with my foot and not finding any aluminum foil, I took my digger to the sand and there it was!! That pretty little gold and amethyst ring. I'm pretty sure that the smaller stones are diamonds. It sure did clean up nice. I have had such a dry spell with gold lately, this was a great surprise! I also wound up with a little over $2.00 in clad. Not bad for an hour and a half hunt!

I'm a happy Moonie!!
