Short hunt on my day off Wednesday

[treasurehound]

My finds from the short hunt today. I can't think of a better way to spend your day off. I found five 3 ringers fired and dropped, .69 round ball, part of a friction primer, shell frag, grommet, Eagle button, part of pocket knife, Spencer brass casing and rivet.

Congrats on the civil war relic finds. If you don't already know, the square iron frame things with a wide "hook" on one side are links from a 20th Century belt-drive chain, also called a roller-link chain. See the photos below.

Treasurehound, Congrat's to you on some nice CW History saved. You dug a nice variety of relics. You are correct when you said what better way to spend your day off. Keep hammering this area, there is bound to be more artifacts scattered about. Hammer Time'. Continued Success to you.
