not much time for swinging today due to alot of work around the house that we have been putting off, but just had to go for about an hour an sure did hate to leave ! we found $2.08 cents, wife found a truck and i found a car we are trying to work out a trade but she is asking too much boot i did manage to find a 1947 wheat and there was 6 cents from the 60s found, no silver the oldest dime was a 66. no pic of the trash we found it was too heavy to carry home lol ! thanks for looking

Great finds considering you only had an hour.

[weasel606]

thanks sfinder, hoping to at least get in another short one tommorow, man i hate doing work around the house when i'm thinking about swinging

[Mirage]

Better than what I found today...Nothing. I was doing the catch up on the chores thing. Man, it never ends......

Wheat penny is a good sign. Is the park old?

[Prober]

Way to go Weasel! I had a short hunt today too, about 2 hours, didn't find much. Good luck tomorrow...oh, excuse me...later today. Didn't realize it was after 12.

[weasel606]

mirage , the park is part of the old locks and dam system on the ohio river. The old lockhouse and park was built in 1918 and the lockhouse converted to a museum after they tore out the locks in the 60s, heres a pic of the lockhouses from the water , theres more to the park its just not in the pic , a very nice place and walking distance from my house

[doozis]

Very nice for a "quick hunt"
I know whatcha mean about the home chores
Its gettin really dry here again so, the detecting is
kinda on hold for now
Keep swingin and keep us posted
