Short hunt this afternoon

Got out for an hour or so in a new spot I got permission to hunt on. Found the one point and some pottery shards. Left about a gallon of perspiration in their place, lol.

There are so many small pottery sherds in a lot of the fields I go to that I don't even pick it up anymore unless its a decent sized piece. Wish I could find all the points I imagine are around there somewhere, lol.

Keep going back there.. especially after a heavy rain and definitely look for washouts.
I have no idea of the soil conditions there but if its pretty sandy the lighter pottery will wind up on the surface while the denser stone tends to be below it.
