Short trip with the 1280-X at old hospital built in 1900

Needless to say Broken_detector, and I had a relatively short, but fun trip today. Took the Fisher 1280-X out today, he had his AT PRO. Both of us came out doing good. The old hospital looks like a 2 story house, but was the little cities first hospital, and maternity ward. There was a lot of trash type signals in the front, and side yards of it so we stayed in the back, where an old barn, and presumably a play area for the children once stood. Found lots of change, a monogrammed head necklace, a American Standard toilet part, MASTERLOCK key with a Lion on it. My wife found the War Nickle, Canadian Cent, old knife, and other odds, and ends. I found the heart buckle, the Chrysler number 1, and trash. All in all a good day for the 1280-X, hate to see it go to a new home, but until it does I’ll be letting it take a rest while we try some Civil War locations. Hope everyone else went out, and made some finds today. Hopefully Broken_detector will post his finds on here, he found some great stuff I’ll let him explain, and show his off.

Thank you. The Aquanat sure paid off big time. Surprisingly enough I dig very little iron. My brother, and I noticed that yesterday. He’d get several hits on his AT that were large iron deep, and I’d go over it, and I’d hear just a chirp. So it was that way on a lot of the signals I had. I’d go over one, he’d come over to confirm it, and it’d be what I thought it would be, and vice versa, he’d get one, I’d call it as a pull tab, and sure enough he had gotten a pull tab. This Aquanat has a certain tune to it, with pull tabs, and aluminum, if you listen really good, on the back side of the signal it’ll sound scratchy sounding which always indicates a pull tab. We ended up finding that nickel on its side, and almost didn’t dig it because it had that scratchy back end tone, but dug it and was very surprised. We laid it out flat in the hole buried it back up, and it sang a different tune.
