my friends wife was a employee of a major coffee manufacturer. One day whilst working on a grinding machine she unfortunately toppled over and fell in.

To which I replied without thinking at least her demise would have been over in an instant. Hes taken the huff mega big time and threatened to do things to me that I don't think are anatomically possible.

Should I report.

Metal mania...You know an Apology goes a long way...Be sure to stress the "I replied without thinking" part...

over in a instant (as in instant coffee) * sorry dude , you clearly did not have your thinking cap on -- the dude was looking for a bit of pity for his loss -- yor basic reply reply was at the very least a bit less than what most folks would call "kind" and thoughtful -- the use of the word "instant' was really a vey poor choice of wording * --ie "instant coffee' -- being "ground to death" is not fast nor is it "painless" -- the fellow saw you as being crass and unfeeling * -- a gee I'm sorry might be in order.

I agree with minergirl.

I'm sorry but.............BAHAHAHAHA! :laughing7: that is kinda funny and wrong in so many ways. Yeah try and apologize if you can if not a move out of country might be in order.

Could have been worse. She could have been eaten by an Asian Palm Civet and shat out as Kopi Luwak.
I think it's still deserving of an apology. Take a pound of coffee with you. Tell him it's a "piece" offering. LMAO

Was it a de-calf grinder?

I'm no lawyer, but it sounds like the husband has "grounds" for a lawsuit.

Just slip him a few *bucks and he"ll be fine.
No need to let this animosity keep brewing and percolate into something nasty!

(decaf line was classic! LOL)

Heard that the female butcher at the local market backed
into the meat grinder and got a little behind in her work...

No, but I heard about the optometrist who fell in his lens grinder and made a spectacle of himself.

what does this have to do with metal detecting?

Both are really fun......;)
