Show me your best condition old find/s! I don't care what it is!

Here's a thread where everyone can play. Not like those inconsiderate GW guys.

Either great condition or really good for the age. Post em up!

The gilt crown button is local militia and dates about CW period.

The plain button is French Marines and dates about 1730s-1750s. Usually these have edge loss and no shank. This one is unusually slick as well.

1936 Jack Armstrong Dragon Talisman, a premium of the Jack Armstrong radio series sponsored by Wheaties breakfast cereal. There was an accompanying chart game, "Adventures with the Mystical Dragon Talismans." The talisman's inscription translates as, “China – The Key to the Door of the Room is Very Precious.” Not super old but in good shape for something dug.

Roman coin dug from sandy soil . Good detail.

I came across this the other day while looking through some coins I've dug. It certainly isn't the oldest but is the nicest 1/2 Reale I've ever dug. It's an 1821 and I dug it near Manassas VA on June 6, 1987

Easily my best condition...coin or relic...relative to it's age. This is as it looked coming out of the ground.

Here's mine, a Roman brooch and a thimble that's in pretty good condition seeing as it dates from the 12th century ;D

That beehive thimble was a good choice.

As we know Roman Fibula & Pins are rarely found intact :icon_thumright:

Re: Show me your best condition old find/s! I don't care what it is!

Not my best coin, but has a degree of rarity 5 and made to 2nd century B.C :o.. the city of Ampurias also the place where I found it so beautiful that the Greeks of the 6th century BC was chosen to live . :D

The Bronze coin is a very large and appears head side of the goddess Athena (the goddess to the Parthenon in Athens) and Pegasus (winged horse) Under the name of the city . :hello:
