A few more items that were found not by detecting but by sifting. Still everything has this coating of ash or something on it that is like concrete. No real buttons to speak of except one that has "S. K. Co PANTS" on it and looks like it was the type that are on jeans today that are I guess rivited into the fabric, not threaded.

The Owl item and the item underneath it I believe were one piece and it seems to have been a broach because I can see where the pin would have fastened on the back.

The item on the top left is some sort of buckle maybe for a horse strap or something.

The item on the top right could be part of a clock mechanisim like the point would go into the spaces on a gear. ANy ideas???

Thanks for looking.

WOW cool stuff!!! Congrats

part of a gear and ratchet works -- its the ratchet stop "arm" keeps the gear from going backwards.

either there was a house there that burned or someone hauled stuff out there and burned it! probably burned in a pile, and the heavier metal items fell to the bottom

Nice to see you are still getting stuff from that site....Owl is cool :director2:
