How different will the signals be with the orientation of the coin in the ground? Is it possible the signal may not be repeatable if a coin is vertical?

Bottom line is I need to fill the same hole with different types of metals to see how my machine reacts. Just a long learning curve and I don't think it we'll ever end. That's the great thing about this hobby. A bad day metal detecting is better than a great day at work.
