Was there a coin under that second nail? I don't think you mentioned there was and I couldn't see it....i assume there was a coin under the nail?

no it was just a nail. there was only one coin.

Ok....my mistake....i see a coin to the right of the nail. The view was a weird angle, looked like the detector was sounding off on the head of the nail.

Interesting tests. I'll have to replicate them, see for myself. I hear a difference in the tones produced as the silencer was changed.
