Put in a few hours after the rain this morning and got myself some keepers. 1896 barber half and 1898 barber quarter.Felt like every few holes I dug a bell popped out. The lead elephant is really cool. Too bad some of the limbs are gone. Not sure what the other piece of lead is. Probably just a piece of lead Any ideas? The buckle looking thing Says H. C. Goodrich pat. March 3 1874 or 5. I seen it online and I guess it's an advertising hook.

That elephant is wonderful, the coins and other stuff cool too. The bottom pic is of a very old knife I think. Wish I could find an elephant.

Thanks. I really like the elephant too. Kinda a unique find.

Congratulations on the very, very, nice finds. I like everything you found here. Finding all of those bells in one day is pretty remarkable, and of course the knife and elephant are cool also. I hope that isn't all for this sight. Good luck

There's a lot more area to be searched. I just have to wait for a few more frosts. I went out today and found a toasted 1864 indian head and a few buttons. If that is a knife I wonder what it's purpose is. I mean it's lead and doesn't have an edge just a sharp point. Thanks for looking
