Silver and first Gold on Florida trip

[metaldetecta]

Spent 3 days detecting in Florida and found more than planned. I finally found my first Gold item and got my first silver coin for the year and much much more! http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pvWCiwHJWDY

Nice finds! If the 14k gold ring rings up as a 99 on your pro it's most likely a fake though. Silver will ring up in the 90's but the small gold will usually be in the 40-50's.

Okay thank you, I think it is white gold so I was wondering if that makes a difference?

My brother scanned the ring and now its coming up as a 44. Thanks for telling me the range of gold though! I hope this is the real deal!

How do you like the AT Pro at the beach? Wet sand?

I really think it works good in all environments. I just need to ground balance it a lot at the beach because of all the minerals in the sand. That was my first hunt on the beach with the AT pro so thats about all I can say about it.

Man if I found a silver Spanish coin I would probably be moving to Florida right now! A find like that would really get me hooked for life.

Thank you, I was very blessed to escape this brutal winter and find some cool stuff. I really hope spring is on its way but in my town its been about 0 degrees lately! I have been researching many new spots for the spring and hope to make some live dig videos. Thanks again and good luck to ya!
