Hey Thanks Ohio! Holy crap, you have a pretty impressive array of finds yourself!! Cheers

That quarter is in beautiful condition! Could the smalerl shoe be for a mule?
Yes we figured mule shoe for sure. The nail holes are unusually large, not sure why, but all hand made.

That's some great finds alright, and all in outstanding shape! Congrats!

Congrats on an awesome hunt, love those seated silvers!
Your Chinese cash coins appear to be from the rein of Emperor Jiaqing 1796-1820 (the larger one) and Emperor Daoguang 1821-1850.

Nicely done on the silver.

I just checked back on my post and cant see where I had said there was anything other than a half and a dime....? But I am older now and new to this forum so it could be there somewhere and I missed it....? Anyway, Its cool to see people comment on finds:) Thanks!!

Thanks for the comment. Yes we believe it to be a mule shoe as well. The nail holes are abnormally large. A little odd but when making by hand, I guess they are all different- Cheers!

Hey THANKS for the info on the Chinese coins! We have found about 15 of them very close around the area we have been swinging at. I could never seem to find any online that matched, but because of where we found them, (around tons of small mines) we just assumed they would be from mid 1800's to early 19's. Super happy to have this info! Thanks again--

Ha!! Yes I see it now. Thanks for clarifying. I see you are in Cal. Just curios where abouts..? My father in law lives up in Jackson/Pine Grove. My wife and I usually spend about a month of the year there and of course do a bit of detecting, tho it is getting harder to find permissions there, as it i getting much more populated the last few years. Anyway, I am still earning my way around this site and am really enjoying it. Thanks again!!!:)
