Hey guys, haven't posted in a while but I've been swinging (and lurking) quite a bit. Yesterday's 1928 permission yielded 2 silvers and a slug.

I was hoping the pictures would be detailed enough for a possible ID on the slug. The rings seem like it might be civil war era, but the patina is different than other Minie balls I've unearthed. Any assistance is greatly appreciated as the owner of the permission wants all the finds.

You guys are just amazing and perusing "Today's Finds" over a cup of joe is a staple in the morning routine. Peace out and HH.

The bullet looks more modern to me, but, I'm no expert by any stretch.
