Silver at the Coinstar

I checked the Coinstar machine today, and got a small handful. 84 cents total, including a '62D Rosie and a '41 Wheatie. The second 1 on the penny is very faint. I imagine that is because of wear and tear, as the coin is well worn. That's better than the usual clad! One of the 4 clad dimes looks like it lost all its cladding, but it still has its reeded edge.

Good score. That clad dime looks like it was dug

I concur. It was definitely 'in' the ground and ret'd to cicrulation by a MDer.

PS - I haven't had ANY luck with a Coinstar machine in a looonnng time. Not even any clad. :BangHead: :thumb_down: :dontknow:

Nice find! You’re killing the coin star! Mine is almost always empty. When I do make a rare recovery, it’s usually those zinc pennies which are stuck together, covered in some sticky substance :BangHead:
