Silver drought finally over!

Been a few months since I found my first Silver, but finally got another. It is just a '57 Roosevelt but it made my day. Found a cool button too but found out it's a fashion button, not the real deal. This park is in what used to be an old Victorian neighborhood but it has been pounded. Button found in a pile of dirt the gophers pushed up. The dime was only 2" deep under a tree amongst a ton of pull tabs and bottle tops. Found some clad too but filled my garret bag half way with trash.

Keep the "Trash". It piles up and is good to take to the scrap yard for some extra hobby money.

Congrats on the silver dime and the end of the drought. I found a Merc' a week ago and it was the first silver coin since June.

Nice! A merc is still on my list, but I did eye ball one fishing on a creek once

Well I finally cleaned him up. First pic after soap and water second from a baking soda tin foil soak.
I know, I know some of you say don't clean coins, but this one bugged me.

Congrats on breaking the non-silver streak! I found the *exact* same navy 'fashion' button you did, all light and hollow with a squared off, modern shank. Too bad, eh? I really would've liked to have one.

That's the best part about this hobby though, there's always next time!

Thanks, it really is cruel if that fashion company to copy that! It is an awesome hobby, I just started this year and I'm addicted.
