Silver found on beach... is it pirate treasure?

1. Your first post is for what, redirecting us someplace else?

2. It's not silver.

3. Why would a natural mineral be a pirate treasure?

4. Are you just trying to build hits for this other website?

Sorry? I'm new... Imgur is just a picture sharing website. I wanted to know what people thought with input from another website (posted this on another website). How do you know its not silver?

What evidence do you have that the blob you have linked to is silver? Why not lead, or zinc, or tin, or aluminum? The list goes on.

Also, what evidence do you have that it may be from pirates?

Opinion: Learn to post images directly to the site. Some of us have encountered malware imbedded in offsite images. This makes some very hesitant to link to off site image files, regardless of reputation of imaging host.

Time for coffee! ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️

Judging from the picture I'd say it's probably a blob of melted aluminum....people toss beer and soda cans in a beach fire and it fusses together.

Sorry... i was unfamilar with this forum so IDK that people didn't like links. Imgur is a pretty trusted site so I thought it would be fine.

Imgur is a trusted site and will be fine. Some people are more fearful than others. I looked at your picture and I to believe it is melted aluminum. The best way to confirm this would be to take it to a jeweler to have it tested for silver. Good luck.

If you found it on an Oregon beach, I'll go even further, it's probably a Budwiser can. Lots of that especially where people camp and ride ATV's.
