I'm back with some recent finds. Monday I swung the NEL Thunder Coil over my yard for the first time and found a 1918 Merc partially masked by a small nail. Jumpy from 67 thru 84 VDI on one angle. Otherwise not much of a signal.

Yesterday I scored 2 new permissions across the street from my house. Late 1800s built homes. A lot of junk and clad. The exception was this partial piece of gas lamp lighter, a few wheaties, and 1896 Indian that is green and cruddy.

Today I knew I had to find silver somehow at the same permission. While working the back yard I unearthed a Sterling Thimble, Silverware, mystery find, and an old button.

Hopefully I'll uncover more. Thanks for looking, good luck out there!

Very nice thimble and knife! GRATS! In a spot like that, don't forget all the mid tones.

I started by picking the easy high tones. Now I'm going back for the mid tones and iron hoping for some on edge coins or masked items.

Don't forget about the low tones!
