Silver Pendant in the Sand

Just joined the forums, good to be here!

Slow day at the beach gave up a few coins, costume pendant, and a little .925 silver pendant on a chain. Snagged the pendant in the dry and the rest of the time in the water. Call it a public service day for beach clean up

Cool find. Your silver pendant has an ‘Om’ ligature in Devanagari script:

It represents a sacred sound, invocation and spiritual symbol in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism.

Thank you for sharing! I was wondering about the meaning behind the symbol.

You've found real silver and not costume jewelry. Congrats. It's more than I've done after 24 detecting trips to the beach.

You hunting dry sand or water? That's surprising to hear from a guy in Florida! I prefer water - less signals but also less trash and usually higher quality targets when you do find them.

Nice job on the silver necklace.
