Silver Ring / Black onix

[Leon]

Hello all,,,
I haven't had the chance to get out much lately. Went to a small local park Monday and found this small childs ring with a piece of black onix... It's was at a depth of just a few inches down and about 10 feet from a playground area with wood ships... It's marked .925, but it's pretty scratched up...
Hope ya all have had a chance to get out...
Good luck, & Happy hunting~

The name comes from the Greek word onyx which means nail of a finger or claw.
As a healing stone, onyx is used to strengthen and cure diseases of the heart and kidneys, to reduce stress and neurological disorders, remove apathy, to improve eyesight and to ensure a good night's sleep.
Onyx powers include eliminating negative thoughts, sharpening the wits and promoting spiritual inspiration.
It is also the birth stone for the Zodiac sign of Leo.

Thanks for the info Ashleen,,, I've never heard of onyx being a birth stone for Leo, and I am a Leo...
I definitely like the "Black Onyx" a whole lot better than a "Red Ruby", and I could also use all the help I can get with those illnesses. I think I have a slight case of all of the above...

Thanks again all,,,
Good luck, & Happy hunting~
