Cross over from my clad thread.

Hit up a Middle School recently which has been yielding lots and lots of older clad, some wheats. - but no silver yet.

Today (last nite) - got my first silver ring - about 4-5" down.

Cleaned up nice and gave it to my 9 Y/O daughter Jessica.

The deal is - Dad gets the coins, Her 7 Y/O Brother - Brandon gets any Matchboxes (although he got a golf ball yesterday and was very happy ) Jessie gets jewelry - she was very happy with this ring, as to date all she has gotten was a silver earring and a fake Claddagh ring.

Last night after cleaning it up - “Dad can we put it up on TN?” - So here it is.

HH

PS - Mom would get any big- ticket jewelry - if it ever appears…mom usually just shrugs at our finds, although seemed impressed with an actual decent piece. She wasn’t impressed with my 1885 IHP at all???

Nice pile you got!! The gold ring will come soon! Just stay after it!! Good luck in your hunts!!!

That's a nice ring, congratulations. That's a awesome deal you have with your kids, what a great way to get them interested in the hobby. I pretty much get the same response from my wife, but deep down I think she likes coming home and looking through that dirty bowl of coins by the sink.

Good job there, and that ring has a lot of nice detail on it.

Funny how everybody lines up for their "taste" , ain't it? Seems that we are just the go-between. From the ground to whomever it's supposed to go to next.

Pretty lil ring!
