I have not been to many of my favorite sites; they are waiting until the Fall. Their have been some recent outings that have been productive. A silver toe ring from The Shore, a Mercury Dime from an old school site, a Flying Eagle from a former farm and a Large Cent that was only 3 inches deep from a "hunted out" park.

More finds coming soon...I hope!

Condition depends on the microclimate where found, as you know.
You can pull a beauty 25 feet from a toasty..
The best ones I get come from the sandy loam areas found up here.
The worst are from ash dumps :thumbsup:

Yeah I never figured that out, a high grade a few feet from a toasty, of the same age. Although the toastys are a lot more common.

Good summer finds Neil, August is the worst time, not to mention too hot.
