Wow, where to begin? Yesterday morning my brother and I got up and hunted for a couple hours before it got too hot out and found 3 quarters, 4 dimes, 1 nickel, and 10 pennies. We also found a Family Fun Center Token and a small silver ring. The ring is stamped 925 on the inside and unfortunately the ring is broken on the back side. I'm not sure whether it was broken before I found it, or if i did it with my shovel, but regardless silver is silver. My brother and I woke at 6 am to meet up with detectingfreak at 6:30 at the local soccer field. We hunted there for roughly an hour, and about 45 minutes into it I got a high quarter signal. Thinking nothing of it because it was an inch down I was being somewhat careless. As I was scraping the dirt I realized I had found a silver quarter and accidentaly nicked the edge! Oh well, a 1964 quarter was a very welcome suprise. The funny thing is that My brother and I spent about 3 hours every day last week while on vacation trying to find a silver coin at old sites and failed, and we go to a soccer complex that is 20-25 years old and find a silver quarter! How ironic. So anyways i fill the plug and keep walking and a couple steps further I get another solid quarter signal and out pops this gigantic 925 biker ring. Shortly thereafter the grounds crew came so we went over to an elementary school. We spent about an hour and a half there and only found clad so we decided to hit one last spot, another park that is probably between 20-25 years old. We spent the rest of the day there till a bit after 11 and found loads of goodies there. Between the 3 of us we probably pulled 30 quarters from here, no joke! And a ways into hunting this place I got a dime signal and was digging nochalantly until I realized that I had a 1962-D silver dime! I don't know what the odds are of finding 2 silver coins that were recent drops are in a day, but somehow I found 2. I've never even found 1 before so I was on cloud 9. Around 11 we were getting ready to call it quits and I told my brother I was digging 1 more signal. To my great suprise it was an Eisenhower dollar, another first for me. Anyways the totals for today are 31 quarters, 18 dimes, 5 nickels, and 46 pennies. Also 1 dollar coin, a family fun center token, 2 silver coins, a silver ring, and other trinkets. The Last pictures are of a badge and souvenir that my brother found. The Badge says FIRENZE P
?ITO . And the souvenir is about the size of a quarter. If you know anything about these 2 objects I am all ears. Thanks for reading through this if you're still bearing with me and good luck out there hunting!
