Silver SLQ coin & Civil War relics n Rain soaked kinda day!

We were blessed with a cold front n mid May & I succeeded I finding a beautiful SLQ silver coin, plus some wonderful Civil War relics from Battle of Nashville TN.
Rained so hard I could see it jumping up a foot off ground. Cars were stopping to videotape me in my grey raincoat, still detecting. Equinox 600 proved again that iron infested 1930’s house sites are our friends.

Many years ago, my brother and I were told by our wives that we were crazy for metal detecting while it was snowing! Great finds for you.

Looks like a 1917, 18 or 19 on the SLQ. Nice!

Could be any date from 1917 to 1924 except 1922 because SLQs were not minted that year. The die was corrected in 1925 to fix the date wearing off issue.

Third digit looks to be a 1. If so, it's 1917, 1918 or 1919. Nice find!
