Nice work! Did you see that merc I posted a while back that came out of Puget Sound? Your merc is a showstopper compared to that one. Good finds.

thanks for the nice replies everyone! ugly or not, i still love mercs! ;) we are going to try to get out again tommorrow morning but its supposed to rain like mad so we will have to play it by ear. i may have to settle for reading about everyone elses finds!

I've dug much worse silver! Nice dimes, and so you found a steel penny? Unless you scored a copper 43 cent. :o ;D I haven't found any steelies.

ahhh it a 48.........its not steel. your post made my heart skip a beat! :o i didnt even think about the copper 43 possibility! no such luck though! :P

things are turnin around dekalb! ;D thats 3 out of 4 weeks with silver! they werent deep only 5 inches or so.
