Silver war nickles. Complete set!

I am posting this in Today's Finds even though I found them yesterday because I just got them cleaned up and photographed. On the 9th of this month I dug two silver war nickles, a 1945 and 1942. Then yesterday the 23rd, I dug two more, a 1943 and 1944. That is every year of silver war nickle you can find (42, 43, 44, 45)! Two hunts three weeks apart! I'm walking on air!!!

nice! I found a war era nickel the other day in my change I was going through, was all excited until I saw it didn't have the mint mark above the bldg on the back. I still think it's cool so I kept it.

Yeah I often think about that. I will even imagine where that item went and who owned it before it was dropped and waited all those years until I was the next person to hold it in my hand.
