My son and I went out this morning and my 3rd target was this glorious set of ww2 sterling pin back parachute badge. I knew it was silver when i saw them because they rang up high. I am so glad i went out today. Also found a 1960d dime, 4 wheats, another ww1 eagle horse bridle button and a pile of junk. Son didn't find much today, he is getting over a virus. 20160605_123429.jpg20160605_123518.jpg20160605_123605.jpg

Airborne!!! Congrats on digging all the keepers MDK. :occasion14: I love to dig military items.

Thats what I normally get with a silver coin or A piece of jewelry sprinkled in.

Nice find. Back in my Fayette nam days we used to go over to Lillington to the rock quarry swimming hole. If that is available to you it could make an outstanding hunt site. Thank you for sharing the jump wings. That brought back some good memories.

GOOD FINDS AND FAMILY THATS WHAT I CALL , PRECIOUS .

When I was in the 82nd back in 1989, we used to go swim/party there as well. We called it acapoko cliffs or something. Its off limits now due to someone died out there years ago. The place was bought by someone and its private land now. to bad, we had a lot of fun there in the summers
