I just got my new Xterra 70 on Thursday and have been learning how to use it and interpret what it's telling me. I have found 3 silver Roosevelt dimes, one was 7" deep and today I found a 1945 Walking Liberty Half dollar. ;D This is a first for me and I was jazzed! I was using the stock 9" 7.5khz coil, threshold at 4, sensitivity at 21 it ground balanced at 21, noise canceled at 0. It rang in at 44 on the TID scale.

Great Catch PRB,

I've had mine almost a month, dreaming about finding one of those.

Although I have found many coins,no big ones yet.

Fantastic machine isn't it.

Wait until we really learn it, wow.

I've had TID's in the 44 or 46 range, but they turned out to be junk.

Only found 1 ring so far, but I'm out everyday and it's bound to happen.

Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing more great finds.

Ron
