Here is all of the silver I have gotten for the most part in the past 3 or 4 months. A couple of the coins including the two silver quarters and the 1921 Morgan Dollar were given to me by mom! She worked at a coat check for an officers club growing up and saved all of her unusual, older, and silver coins. Thats one of the reason I got into coin collecting!

It's a good start! What is that one with the star in the middle?

Thanks! I know it isn't much compared to most people on here, but I just started recently , and now have added a 1959 Franklin half to the mix!

Nice. So far the only Franklin Halves I have are 1963

i was going through a pile of foreign coins that I was going to put into a yard sale. Only cost me 25 cents apiece when I came upon one that made a different tone when I threw it into the pile. A beautiful sound us coin lovers know. Silver! I dug out the coin and looked at it. it was british, with the start of the silver black tarnish on one side. I typed it into google and got surprised. It was a 1944 two shilling (florin) and it was .925 silver. 92% silver! Not bad for a junk piece that almost ended in a yard sale. Might still stick it in the yard sale just to see if any coin hunters go ga-ga over it.

sorry for no picture but my camera is broke.

Sincerely, Garoulady
