Went back to the spot where I found the wedding rings, fanning underwater (haven't picked out a detector yet).
I took another look around and again, I found gold while fanning among the rocks, dirt, trash and debris...


I think I'll borrow a detector to check out this spot. Maybe i'll find a gold coin soon!!!

Unfortunately sometimes gold is gold......yuck...but it has value that's what counts.

I would definitely borrow a detector from someone or try to find a used one on-line for a good price. Maybe try a few pawn shops. You wouldn't believe the stuff you can find in one of those.

I bet with a detector you would find a lot of good stuff.

I'll clean them up a bit befor I do that... I will put them into the acid bath and see how they come out.
The condition didn't phase my 17 year old though... he said "Cool!!!" and popped them right into his mouth!!
