Skunk streak??

I want to know if you are having a skunk streak in dimes or halves, and if you are, what's the number of boxes you've gone through? My # is 5 in a row on dimes right now.., (3 loomis)

27 boxes in a row is my record so far, but right now it seems to be a constant 10 in a row and then a box with 1 or 2 in it and 10-15 in a row again.

Dimes have been horrible to me this year, 7k in dimes, 5 rosies

Halves arent near as bad... I avg about 1 piece of silver per box

My dimes bank stopped ordering boxes so I only get CWRs from them. They do a lot of business so I can get about $800 a week in CWRs. I am on my longest running skunk streak right now with half boxes. I have had 44 skunk boxes. Thats right $22,000. I do 2k a week. Thank god for CWR silver halves.

Haven't searched any dimes in awhile, but I'd guess that I'm sitting on at least a 15 box skunk streak. I don't know the exact number, but I do know that lifetime I've searched ~45 boxes and found 11 silvers, and 8 of those came from 2 boxes. I guess its not hard to figure out why I haven't searched dimes in awhile.

I just ended my longest streak ever; 25 boxes of halves. Box 26 produced 2-40%er's.

Reading this I don't feel quite so bad.. I'm on a 7 box skunk streak with halves. Picked up 4 boxes today so we'll see how that goes. Dimes on the other hand seem to produce just shy of one silver per box. I guess it's all in where you are hunting as to what's giving up silver.

I find silver in atleast every 2 boxes.

I'm currently on a 2 box skunk streak thanks to my pickup yesterday. I get two more boxes of halves tomorrow so we'll see how those go. I'm just starting out and so far I've ordered 3 boxes and got one 40%. In the last two weeks, teller trays and random MWR that banks had on hand have accounted for 13 40% and 1 90%. It's looking like random pickups are the way to go for me, but I'm going to keep trying boxes too to see if they pan out with more volume.

Longest skunk streak in halves was 11 boxes.

Longest in dimes was something like 4 or 5 boxes worth of CWR's at one point, maybe more.

My averages for this year are horrible compared to last year. Its been bad around here since June or so.

I thinks it's all in where your at, geographically. My brinks boxes here having been producing 4-8 keepers a box(halves). However I have been skunked on five dime boxes in a row.

Well, you can't officially call it a skunk streak as I am finding a single 40%er about every other box, but it's definitely slower in 2013 than it was in 2012. My longest skunk streak is $20,000 in halves without a single coin worth keeping (that includes proofs, NIFCs, everything!). It will turn around though, it always does. HH!
