Now this isn't exactly today's find but is in the last few weeks. Me and another buddy of mine have actually hit a small star note streak. Him 2 and me 3. Just figured I'd share this one and see what opinions you might have on it and whether its worth much. I prefer coinage in my collections so getting rid of it isn't gonna break my heart. I've googled on it some but haven't learn much on it.

If those marks have 'bled through' from the back of the bill, it is called a "Back on Face, Offset Transfer". The value of a Back to Face (or Face to Back) Offset Transfer (itself--without considering the rarity or condition of the bill) is determined by how bold the transfer is. Full, bold transfers can produce values in the hundreds of dollars. Maybe there are Ebay sales of partial Offset Transfers you can review for more information (and current values).
Don.....

Now when you say back on face your saying ink stamped on the opposite side soaked thru or do you mean ink from another bill stacked on it has soaked onto it? I don't really see it being a soak thru cause the main misprint is the partial double of the serial number cause they aren't on the back to soak thru. And I've tried ebay and other sites to find a value but I couldn't find any other bills with the same thing exactly in regards that for one, its a star note which makes it just a tad more valuable than its face value but with it being a star note and a misprint together like this, well I couldn't really find none that I would call similar. They may be online somewhere but I don't know what to type in to find it.

If I remember the star is used when the o
riginal bill was damaged during the printing to show that it was a replacement bill.
