Me and RMBUTCHER hit a new field today for a few hours..I found a real nice 1833 LC right away then the field went dry for awhile after that..managed a 1900 barber dime and a 1936 wheatie and a flattened old ring. ForumRunner_20130425_142935.webp

The LC was about 4 inches down..a farm field..not many of our finds are too deep out there..found an 1850 LC and a 1859 IH laying right on top of the ground out there last week

gotta love them fields, i literally kicked a LC out with the heel of my boot and found a tombac button on the surface w/o the detector
