Made it back Saturday morning to the site where I found the CW belt plate last weekend. It had had rained all night and still drizzling, had to be quick finding the targets before the holes filled up with water, not ideal but had family plans for Easter Sunday.

The finds were slower, but still some interesting targets ranging from a small pewter spoon, to an ornate Yale & Towne padlock. My favorite was the dime sized solid silver detailed potential Gibson Girl piece, but sort of looks like a young prince.

I also collected the bottles I stashed last week and gave them a rinse. Some have a seam running the length with a simple B marking on bottom, some have no seam and the bottoms are plain. Any ID on date range for these whisky bottles?

The bottles with no seam are turn mold bottles where the bottle was spun in the mold. They might have a pushed up base with small round nipple or protrusion on the base. They can date late 1800s to early 1900s. The one with the B on the base is an ABM (Automatic Blowing Machine) bottle which would date it after 1903 at the earliest. but more likely after 1910. The clear one is a 3-piece mold. bottle with applied lip. These can be 1860s to early 1900s. Bottles made in Europe tended to be cruder that American made bottles from the same time frame. All of these are pre-prohibition alcohol bottles because they don't have the Federal Law Prohibits..." statement embossed in them.
Looks like a nice hunt. Thanks for the invite, but weather conditions were terrible.

Nice hunt, liking the Silver girl item.
I agree with what Steve stated regarding the bottles.
It's hard to tell on the clear one if it came out of whittle mold.
Another picture without the back drop item would be nice if possible.
