Made it back Saturday morning to the site where I found the CW belt plate last weekend. It had had rained all night and still drizzling, had to be quick finding the targets before the holes filled up with water, not ideal but had family plans for Easter Sunday.
The finds were slower, but still some interesting targets ranging from a small pewter spoon, to an ornate Yale & Towne padlock. My favorite was the dime sized solid silver detailed potential Gibson Girl piece, but sort of looks like a young prince.
I also collected the bottles I stashed last week and gave them a rinse. Some have a seam running the length with a simple B marking on bottom, some have no seam and the bottoms are plain. Any ID on date range for these whisky bottles?
