It's been a few weeks since I've hit the beaches (I kinda stopped due to the Red Tide).
But, prior to the Red Tide finds were getting few and far between anyway, and 2007 ended with not much to talk about.
I was eager to get 2008 off to a better start, I mean after all, we've had terrific weather down here in Florida for weeks. After arriving at one of our favorite spots, we found it to be packed with people (a great sign).
I started swingin' the XLT and it took me almost 40 minutes to find my first penny (oh boy). Needless to say, I didn't find much more than that. I sure hope the 2008 season isn't as disappointing as 2007. However, it was good to get out and poke around for a while. HH and hope you all have a great 2008.
