IDK... a Gut reaction response. Guessing nothing to do with old air force base though.....

i just don't know.... they seem to have a purpose, they are not flat, have a conical base and are about a quarter inch thick in the middle.

i have found them on a specific beach over about 20 years or so. The spot is isolated and associated with Native and early settler activity...west coast. The spot is also oddly enough, associated with cars from the late 40's and early 50's, parts and pieces.

They are the glass insulators from the bottom of light bulbs. The single hole is where the metal electrical connection is.

I can really see the shape of that too. Lightbulbs used to float in all the time on the tides.

I found a purple one on a beach in Texas and thought I had something good until I realized it was from a lightbulb.
