Found this small 14K gold ring at the old farmhouse I've been working for some time now, as time permits -- about 1.6 grams. I had just dug 6 pulltabs in a row, and this sure sounded like the 7th. Guess this is why we keep telling ourselves to dig those pulltab signals!

Ironically, I found my first Civil War relic on Father's Day this year -- a Union Infantry coat button. This ring (I believe my first gold ring, there may have been a bent up one back when I was a kid) was found on my birthday. Think I'm going to focus on holidays etc. from here on out... just saw that today is National Cotton Candy Day! :laughing7:

Nice job on the ring and staying persistent digging the pull tab signals..

Congrats! Nice gold ring!
Cotton Candy Day is good enough!

I used to have a calendar that listed a holiday for every day of the year....
