What metal detector and coil did you use to find it?
Short answer- equinox 900 with 6” coil

Some of you might recall me saying how I didn’t care for the equinox 800. I didn’t mesh well with it. Well apparently I was using it with a bad coil. I didn’t think the coil was bad because it was a brand new coiltek 10x5. I got rid of the 800 a while back. I recently decided to pull the trigger on a equinox 900 and boy I’m glad I did! I’ve only tried it out 2 times for about 4 hours each time. First time I went to a small patch that I’ve pounded with every detector and I really was sure it was cleaned out. Best place to test a new machine. I was on the gold within minutes of turning on the machine for the first time. Squeezed out 3 more small pieces out of there. This trip was to a different patch I wrote off. I got 2 pieces if you count this one lol

Thanks for the tip. I've always wanted to shoot for nuggets with a detector. Maybe now at this stage in life I just might take that up.
