My dad lived in Guam in the early 70's. While there he dove a lot and found a lot of dishes/china sets, ash trays, and bottles ect plus a large brass porthole off of one of those two ships. I just got two boxes of stuff he saved, some in great shape and some broken china but I have all the pieces to the broken bowls. Worth anything? Most of what he gave me sits in a display case in my classroom in Wasilla Alaska.

Those types of items are generally only valuable to the diver's who bring them up as souveniers. There might be some WW2 collectors who would buy them but I don't know.

After the WWII Cruiser Celeste was sunk by a typhoon during a tow near Guam, a friend of mine scored two portholes and a bunch of small brass items off the Celeste. He also dove a late 1800's Ocean going paddlewheeler that sunk off the west coast of Guam and found some sword pommels and powder flask
