Hello folks. After a couple of days in Mass near Boston we have hit it kinda hard for a couple days. Not, much to show ya though. Our first day out we hit a large park near Waltham. No one was around in the morning so we figured this was going to be nice........Well about three hours later, everyone and their sister was there walking their dogs. It was a large place with some old rock walks.
Anyway, after having the crazy dog lady with five dogs off leash, with one of them going after my son, we tried to stay away from the trails and stay next to the brick wall. He found a really good penny/dime signal. I'm thinking a largie. Nope, It was 124 memorial pennies, one 1971 10 Francs coin and a nickel.
Really? In the middle of the this park and near the old wall

We have hit a few other places and have some older buttons and a couple ox shoes. Hit a really nice looking park area in Weston. All was going good and after finding a lot of clad; about 4 bucks work, I start thinking, there is no way no one has hit this place and perhaps we shouldn't be here. I have my son check the city ordnance's which said nothing about metal detecting on city property. I see a city worker and asked him. He said we should be ok. I'm thinking ok, were good to go. Nope. About an hour later, the black and white pulls up. We get to chatting and he said we can metal detect; we just can'd "dig"

Not a problem. It was starting to rain and we were both tired of finding nothing but clad and junk rings. Oh well. No beach hunting as of yet.
Heading for Marthas Vineyard tomorrow!
Keep ya posted.
